Mudra Myay is a venture born in 2021 from the shared vision of ten determined Myanmar women. We fervently wished to promote Myanmar’s valuable agricultural treasures to the world. And that’s what we do. We collaborate with local farmers and small SME owners for our product brand, Ahlu-Ama, producing and marketing offerings like Pindaya green tea, pickled tea leaves, and various powdered spices.
The inspiration behind the Ahlu-Ama product brand draws from an ancient mural found on the walls of a pagoda in Baw Hseng City in Pindaya. This mural serves as a representation of the vision of the women founders of Mudra Myay which was to come together to do good. The two female figures incorporated into our product logo symbolise the act of giving. Through Ahlu-Ama, we seek to reflect the cherished tradition of the Danu people's generous spirit.
We proudly offer a regionalised and specialised green tea that embodies the essence of the Danu region. The tea is sourced from the captivating heights of the Pindaya Shan mountains, which rise more than 1,182 metres above sea level. The Danu people, in harmony with other ethnic groups in Shan State, weave a rich cultural tapestry that enriches Myanmar's cultural heritage.
In this fertile soil and favourable climate, we cultivate exceptional teas, including the renowned Misty Valley green tea sourced from a 130-year old tea farm. These teas are brimming with high-intensity antioxidants and amino acids, delivering remarkable health benefits to our valued customers.
